Sunflower oil supplies from Ukraine have reached record volumes.

In March, Ukraine exported a record volume of sunflower oil for this season – 427 thousand tons, which is 18% more than in February. This was reported by the Grain Exchange. In March, Ukraine increased its sunflower oil exports by 18% compared to February – to 427 thousand tons, which was a record figure for the current season. However, this volume is 3% less than in March 2025. The largest increase in supplies was recorded in certain Middle Eastern markets. In particular, exports to Jordan increased 7.7 times – to 35 thousand tons, to Turkey – 2.4 times, reaching 40 thousand tons (the highest in the last 10 months), and to Saudi Arabia – 14 times, to 15 thousand tons (an eight-month maximum). Supplies to certain countries decreased: to the UAE – by 32%, to Qatar – by 85%, and to Iraq, shipments were not made at all in March.
