The article highlights the continued production of superfood crops in Peru, despite the pandemic, thanks to a significant investment from the Agroideas Program of the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation. This investment has supported small producers of crops such as quinoa, native potato, and chia, leading to increased productivity and international market access. The article provides examples of agricultural organizations that have received funding and have successfully increased production and quality, supplying both local and international markets. The Agroideas program continues to work towards enhancing the competitiveness of small and medium agricultural businesses in Peru through technological development.
