On the contrary, it continues to be insured thanks to the efforts of farmers who, in the last 10 years, have had an investment of S / 51.7 million by the Agroideas Program of the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri), to promote their crops native potato, quinoa, chia, cañihua, kiwicha, sacha inchi, cat's claw and tarwi. These are superfoods with a great nutritional contribution to health, which are consumed in Peruvian homes. For example, the native potato contains vitamin C, iron and zinc; or quinoa, which has high amounts of protein, vitamins and omega, to combat malnutrition.
