Yesterday, the Safaga seaport received a ship loaded with 2,500 heads of cattle coming from Djibouti, bringing the quantities received so far to 5,000 heads out of the total contracted shipments, estimated at 12,000 heads. Dr. Ali Al-Moselhi, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, said that the received shipments were transferred to the quarry of the automated slaughterhouse in Safaga of the National Company for Animal Production of the National Service Projects Authority, in preparation for slaughtering them and offering them to citizens at the outlets of consumer complexes and sheds affiliated with the ministry at a price of 195 pounds per kilo, as part of the preparations.
