The Agriculture and Food Security Ministry in Malaysia has assured the public that there will be sufficient chicken and egg supply for the upcoming Ramadan month, despite previous concerns about a potential shortage. Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu addressed issues raised by poultry farmers, such as the shortage of foreign workers, and stated that the government is taking steps to facilitate the hiring of more workers legally. The minister also mentioned that rising feed prices have impacted the supply, but that efforts are being made to grow corn suitable for chicken feed in Perlis to reduce reliance on imports and control chicken prices.
