Goseong-gun in Gangwon-do, South Korea, is executing a eco-friendly gardening land support project at 35 out of 47 farms in the highland region. The project was initiated with a budget of 35 million won, aiming to offset rising farming costs and encourage continuous facility farming. Last year, 17.5 million won was allocated to 48 farms. The project is projected to produce 6,310 bags of produce before the farming season, using 45.5 million won. The highlands of Goseong-gun are used for the cultivation of bell peppers, celery, and lettuce, with bell peppers being the dominant crop.
