The Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri) created the "Multisectoral Working Group of a temporary nature, in charge of formulating and proposing actions for the articulation between the production, marketing, and internal consumption of legumes in Peru," with the objective of strengthening this important productive chain at the national level. The measure was made official through Ministerial Resolution No. 0034-2026-Midagri, published on January 31 in the Legal Norms Bulletin of the official newspaper El Peruano.
