Deputy head of the agricultural production association Serhii Shtyrbunov says, this crop is a good predecessor and has flexible sowing periods, which allows farms to carry out the sowing from mid-October and even at the end of December. "Due to the intensity of precipitation in October-November and the corresponding temperature regime, we could not fully carry out all the planned sowing of this crop in the autumn at the optimal time. Winter peas were sown at TDV "Chornomorets" and TOV "Liman", in Odesa and Rozdilna districts. In these two farms, the crop has good germination, is vegetating well, and enters winter in the optimal phase of development.
