The Jeju Headquarters of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation (Head: Ko U-il) announced that the "5th Jeju Hanwoo and Black Cattle Competition Awards Ceremony and Hanwoo and Black Cattle Festival" will be held over two days, from the 5th to the 6th, at the Grass Plaza in the Citizen Welfare Town. The "Jeju Hanwoo and Black Cattle Competition" is organized by the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province and the Jeju Branch of the National Hanwoo Association, with the Jeju Headquarters of the Agricultural Cooperative Economic Group as the main organizer, and sponsored by the Hanwoo Self-Help Fund Management Committee, Jeju Livestock Agricultural Cooperative, and Seogwipo Livestock Cooperative, to select the best Hanwoo and black cattle in the Jeju region. This year marks the 5th anniversary of the competition, which aims to enhance the competitiveness of Jeju's Hanwoo industry, nurture leading farmers, discover excellent bloodlines, and promote the excellence of Jeju Hanwoo and black cattle.
