The National Office for Sanitary Safety for Food Products has announced that Moroccan dates, including Medjool dates, can now be exported to the American market. This milestone was achieved after technical discussions with the American Animal and Plant Health Inspection Agency (APHIS). An APHIS delegation visited Morocco from May 6 to 10, 2024, to meet with officials and inspect production units and date wrapping stations.
