The Central Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives (Chairman No Dong-jin) and Sh Fisheries Cooperative Bank announced that they held the "Love Sea Warmth Sharing" event on the 16th to jointly support low-income fishermen in the Mokpo area of Jeonnam with essential goods in the run-up to the New Year. This event was organized to support fishermen who are facing difficulties due to reduced catches and income caused by climate change issues such as high temperatures and red tides. The event delivered essential goods to a total of 100 households of the Mokpo Fisheries Cooperative members. On the day of the event, Choi Young-dong, head of the Jeonnam branch of the Central Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives, and Ryu Su-jung, head of the Jeonnam regional finance branch of Sh Fisheries Cooperative Bank, visited the Mokpo Fisheries Cooperative to deliver the support items and discuss support measures for fishermen to the cooperative's manager Kim Cheong-ryong.
