The Council of Ministers has approved, at the proposal of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, the 47th Combined Agricultural Insurance Plan that will maintain in 2026 the budget of 315 million euros for aid to the contracting of policies. The new plan maintains the differentiated subsidy system for professional farmers, young farmers, and holders of priority holdings, which facilitates these insured parties in reaching or being close to the maximum aid percentages allowed by community regulations. Modules 2 and 3 continue to be reinforced for priority groups (young, professionals, and priority holdings), with minimum subsidies that cover, respectively, 50% and 45% of the cost of the policies by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food. These supports can be increased up to 70% with the subsidies of the autonomous communities, according to ministerial sources.
