The article highlights a new initiative, the 'Project for Enabling the Use of Agricultural Lands', initiated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Turkey, which aims to distribute 625,000 broccoli seedlings across 250 decares of land in Samsun's Bafra Plain. This project aims to generate an economic benefit of 3 million liras by providing an alternative crop for the period between rice harvests. The project will be supported by both the ministry and the farmers, with the larger goal of enhancing local agriculture, promoting domestic production, and combating the challenges of global warming by optimizing agricultural practices for changing climatic conditions.
