According to the European Commission, in the current season (from July 1 to December 16) the European Union reduced the import of vegetable oils compared to the same period last year by 10% to 2,3562 million tons. In particular, the import of palm oil decreased by 12% to 1,3545 million tons, and sunflower oil by 33% to 776.5 thousand tons.
