The mechanism allowing farmers to export grown soybeans and rapeseed without paying a 10% duty has already been approved, and the finalization of procedural details is currently underway. This was reported by the Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture Oleksiy Sobolev, as reported by Ukrinform. On October 3, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution confirming the own cultivation of agricultural products, specifically soybeans and rapeseed, for export purposes. Farmers who export their own produce can be exempt from the 10% export duty. The Minister noted that an amendment has already been submitted to the draft state budget for 2026 regarding the possibility of returning the duty paid by agricultural producers during the export of soybeans and rapeseed in September 2025 before the government's decision on the exemption procedure was adopted.
