The Korea Fisheries Marketing Association, founding general meeting on December 16.

The so-called Korea Fisheries Products Distribution Association will officially launch with a founding general meeting on December 16 at the conference room of the Korea Wholesale Agricultural and Fisheries Products Market Association Corporation in Songpa-gu, Seoul. At this general meeting, key agenda items such as determining the draft bylaws, electing officers, confirming contributed assets, and deliberating the 2026 business plan and budget proposal are scheduled. The association will follow the procedures for establishing a non-profit organization, receive approval from the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries after the general meeting, complete the corporate registration, and plans to start full-scale business operations from 2026. The initiators who have been pushing for the establishment of the association include the Korea Wholesale Agricultural and Fisheries Products Market Association Corporation, the Korea Fisheries Wholesalers Association, the Korea Fisheries Wholesalers Association Federation, and others.
