Last week, the Ukrainian feed barley market experienced a stable price situation. The cost of the grain did not change significantly, as both restraining and stimulating factors simultaneously influenced the market. Farmers are currently in no rush to sell their barley reserves, anticipating a possible price increase in the near future. The value is supported by high demand from poultry farms and compound feed producers, as well as significant logistics costs. On the other hand, prices are pressured by the downward trend in export prices and the restrained interest of most other buyers. On the domestic market, demand prices were recorded within the range of 9100-10500 UAH/t CPT. Meanwhile, at Ukrainian ports, the cost of barley increased by 1-2 USD/t and stands at 216 to 222 USD/t CPT-port.
