The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries recommends 'clean Jindo seafood' as a gift for Chuseok.

Jindo County (Mayor Kim Heesoo) announced that the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries (Minister Jeon Jaesu) purchased approximately 300 gift packages consisting of representative marine products from Jindo, such as shrimp, anchovies, and seaweed, produced in the clean waters of Jindo for the Chuseok holiday. The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, a central administrative agency overseeing maritime policy, fisheries, and fishing village development, as well as the distribution of marine products, selected Jindo's marine products, which is being evaluated as a case of recognition of the excellence of Jindo's marine products.
