The I National Palm Oil Forum was held on November 19 at the Hilton Hotel in Chacarilla, Lima, with the welcome of Mr. Ledgard Arévalo Díaz, president of PERÚ PALMAS. The event was attended by palm oil growers from the regions of Loreto, Ucayali, San Martín, and Huánuco, who highlighted that there are currently around 130,000 hectares of palm oil planted in the country. Also present were professionals and technicians from the agro-economic chain linked to this crop. The day featured the prominent presence of parliamentarian Jeny Luz López Morales, president of the Agrarian Commission of the Congress of the Republic, as well as renowned national and international experts specialized in palm oil.
