Following the negotiations of recent weeks, which included demonstrations and roadblocks due to the lack of agreements, the National Agrarian Labor Commission (CNTA) formalized this Wednesday the new minimum remunerations agreed upon for the “permanent staff of continuous service” for the coming year. In fact, the validity of these salaries is from July 1 of this year until July 31, 2026. According to Resolution 174/2025, with the July salary, rural workers must receive a minimum sum of 841,195.71 pesos -which does not include food or year-end bonus-, in addition to an additional non-remunerative bonus of 20,000 pesos. Until now, the basic salary of a general worker was 828,764.25 pesos, which the Argentine Union of Rural and Dock Workers (UATRE) categorized as a “poverty salary,” considering that the INDEC defined that the minimum income for a family not to be considered poor should exceed 1,100,000 pesos.
