The performance of Hungarian feed production increased, almost half of the products went to poultry

In Hungary, 3.825 million tons of livestock feed were produced in mixing plants in 2020, 1.2 percent more than in the previous year. In 2020, 48.8 percent (1.868 million tons) of the compound feed produced was provided by poultry feed. Poultry feeds accounted for 45.3 percent of poultry feeds, 17.9 percent of chicken feeds, 19.8 percent of turkey feeds, 11.1 percent of duck feeds, and 5.9 percent of goose feeds. Pig feed accounted for 36.6 percent (1.399 million tons) of production in 2020.
