GreenYellow, a specialist in photovoltaic solar energy production projects, and PTP Spain, dedicated to logistics solutions, announced this Wednesday that they will develop an industrial refrigeration and solar energy generation project at the new terminal of the port of Cádiz, which will position this installation as a benchmark in sustainability in the logistics and food sector. The project consists on one hand in the installation of a centralized refrigeration system with natural refrigerant (NH₃), specifically designed for the new refrigerated cargo terminal, currently under construction, the companies explain in a press release. The complex, with a covered surface area of over 14,500 square meters, will offer refrigeration chambers designed to operate at two different temperatures: minus 10 degrees Celsius for fruits and vegetables and minus 30 degrees for meat, fish, and seafood.
