Turkey: The price of linden increase

With the arrival of the winter months, interest in teas made of medicinal herbs has increased. While there was an increase in the sales of many plants, the price per kilo of linden among these plants attracted attention. While the price per kilo of linden leaves, which has a relaxing and breath-opening effect, was 150 TL, the price per kilo of flowers only rose to 250 TL. Herbal teas, which are indispensable for the winter months, started to attract attention in November. While the demand for herbs such as sage, thyme, chamomile and rosehip increased, the price of lime rose attracted attention. While the price of sage, one of the medicinal plants, was sold for 25 TL, the price of linden increased to 150 TL. The price of the mixture consisting only of linden flowers reached 250 TL.
