A new project in Uzbekistan's Syrdarya district special innovation zone has come to life, creating a grape seed oil production line capable of producing 50,000 liters annually. The project, which cost 2.7 billion soums, or $241.2 thousand, received significant support from the Ministry of Innovative Development of Uzbekistan. Employing a team of eight, the facility is geared towards producing oil for the Russian and Turkish markets, with plans to further utilize grape seed waste to produce grape seed flour for cosmetology applications. This initiative is part of a larger effort to efficiently utilize Uzbekistan's abundant grape supply, building on the success of a pomegranate seed oil production start-up in the same innovation zone.
