In the 2020/21 marketing year, March saw a significant decrease in the production of various cereal products, including flour, bread, pasta, feed, and rice, compared to the same period the previous year. The most notable declines were seen in semi-hulled, husked or crushed rice (61.1% since the beginning of the season) and cereals and wholemeal flour from various grains, except for soft wheat and spelled (1.9% since the beginning of the season). Other cereal products like bran and feed also experienced a decrease in production.
