Baladna Co Q.P.S.C. is planning to build a dairy farm in Ukraine that can accommodate 25,000 head of cattle, as discussed with the International Finance Corporation. The farm is projected to produce 400-700 tons of milk daily. The Union of Dairy Enterprises of Ukraine is hopeful that this investment will draw attention to the need for a protectionist policy towards the dairy industry in Ukraine, and encourage more business interest in milk production and processing modernization.
