A study by the dairy cooperative CRV and Veepro Holland from 2010 to 2019 found that cows with higher conformation scores, indicating better body structure and udders, reached 200,000 pounds of milk faster than those with lower scores. The research also showed that cows are reaching 100,000 kg of milk production faster each year. Additionally, the study revealed that delaying service in heifers until 200 days post-calving does not impact their daily milk production.
