According to TF Agroeconômica, the main recommendation for corn producers is to closely monitor the futures market and price charts, seeking to make sales at times of higher profitability and avoiding periods of loss. The consulting firm warns that geopolitical conflicts, such as the war in the Middle East, can bring temporary price spikes, with Iran, for example, being the second-largest buyer of Brazilian corn, but these fluctuations tend to be short-lived, as occurred with wheat during the war between Russia and Ukraine. Thus, the ideal is to take advantage of these positive movements to ensure margins above the cost of production.
