On August 2, 2021, in Kırıkkale's Sulakyurt district, 450 stolen straw bales worth covering 52 farmers across 250 acres were located by gendarmerie teams and restored to the owners. The theft suspect, M.S., was apprehended and a legal case was initiated against him. The bales were recovered from a Çankırı warehouse.
