The Farmers' Union, following the publication in the OJEU of aid totaling 40 million euros for the French wine sector, criticizes that in Spain "not even the measures to be put on the table are identified, in a clear disinterest in facing the crisis of a sector that is strategic." The agricultural organization has taken note of the publication in the OJEU in its last edition of March 31, 2026, of the Delegated Regulation (EU) 2026/744 of the Commission of March 31, 2026, establishing an exceptional temporary crisis distillation measure to address market disruptions in the French wine sector for the 2025/2026 marketing campaign. The Regulation certifies that financial aid from the European Union in the amount of 40 million euros will be made available to France to support the exceptional temporary crisis distillation measure.
