During most days of the first and the beginning of the second decade of the month, excessive temperatures are expected, but below the biological minimum necessary for the resumption of vegetation processes in winter cereals, say agrometeorologists. In the second half of February in most parts of the country the thermometers will show values close to the usual ones for the period and will keep the wintering crops at rest. Exceptions will be observed in places in the southern and southeastern regions, where in the third decade conditions will be created for weak vegetation in wheat and barley, but it will not lead to a change in the phenological condition of crops.
