The Chairman of the Fish Union, Alexander Panin, has announced that there is an adequate supply of red caviar on the Russian market and that it is expected to last until Maslenitsa. Panin reassured that there will be no shortage of the product. This announcement contrasts with the forecast by the head of the Federal Agency for Fisheries, Ilya Shestakov, who anticipated a decrease in red caviar production in Russia by the end of 2024, estimating it to drop to around 11-13 thousand tons, down from the previous year.
