Farmers in Gaziköy Neighborhood are intensively collecting sage tea, which is then sent to a factory in Izmir and exported to seven countries. In collaboration with Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University, the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry has distributed 200,000 sage seedlings to 41 farmers, contributing to the increase in the production of medicinal and aromatic plants in Turkey. The sage tea, known for its high quality and demand, is collected from both natural and artificial fields and is a significant source of additional income for the neighborhood's residents.
