The deputy state secretary at the Ministry of Agriculture of Hungary highlighted the nutritional benefits of venison and its alignment with a healthy lifestyle at a recent event. She stressed the importance of supporting local products and short supply chains to aid environmental protection and promote the game meat industry's growth. The ministry encourages the consumption of venison, especially during the Christmas season, to enhance the diversity of festive menus. The #vadateszem campaign aims to increase domestic consumption of Hungarian venison, which currently is only one-fifth of the European average, not just as an export product but also as a staple in Hungarian cuisine.
