Previously, the Executive Director of the Indonesian Vegetable Oil Industry Association (GIMNI) Sahat Sinaga said, based on GIMNI's estimates, the amount of used cooking oil in Indonesia currently ranges from 18 to -22% of the total consumption of ordinary cooking oil. So, if the use of ordinary cooking oil is around 5.8 million tons per year, the volume of used cooking oil is around 1.1 million tons per year.
