Official Veterinary Services (SVO) of the Generalitat de Catalunya have reported the detection of three new secondary outbreaks of African Swine Fever (ASF) in wild boars. A total of 18 animals were found dead, all located within the high-risk area delimited by a 6-kilometer radius around the initial cases. With these, the total number of outbreaks reported to date rises to 23, 3 of them primary and 20 secondary, which would give a total of 103 positive cases. In addition, another 833 animals have been analyzed, which have tested negative for PCR, of which 468 have been captured, and 365 have been sampled by passive surveillance (whole carcasses or remains found in the natural environment or animals with symptoms culled) in the infected area and its surroundings.
