Originating from China, particularly Phu Binh district, Shaanxi province, the fruit has gained popularity in Vietnam for its jelly-like flesh and pearl-like red skin. Despite the lack of detailed information about its origin, the pearl jelly persimmon has attracted significant interest and demand in the Vietnamese market.
