The province of Tay Ninh in Vietnam has seen a significant increase in its cassava production, with nearly 62,000 hectares of cassava and 65 cassava starch processing factories. However, there is a lack of investment and coordination between processing plants and farmers, leading to a limited supply of raw materials. The Vietnam Cassava Association aims to address these challenges by urging factories to invest in raw material areas and calling for government support and planning to ensure the sustainable development of the cassava industry.
