The Tarsus Municipality of Mersin organized olive cultivation training to promote the production of the geographically marked Sarıulak olive and to strengthen rural development. An information event for producers was held within the scope of the Sarıulak Project, which was implemented by the Tarsus Municipality in collaboration with the District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry and the Tarsus Trade Exchange. The project aims to protect the Sarıulak olive, which is a local value with a geographical indication of Tarsus, to expand the production areas, and to strengthen rural development.
