Turkey's Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, İbrahim Yumaklı, reported that the country is conducting an active and sustainable fight against the brown marmorated stink bug (Halyomorpha halys), a pest that causes serious damage to agricultural production and seeks shelter with the onset of cold weather. According to him, within the framework of the campaign, treatments have been carried out in over 1 million households, covering 631 settlements and involving 1231 employees. Additionally, 72,000 producers and citizens have undergone training on pest control and prevention.
