Sudan has allocated 100 thousand hectares of agricultural land to Turkey for processing, as announced by Vice President Fuat Oktay during a meeting with Sudan Sovereignty Council President Abdulfettah el Burhan and Turkish business people. The initial allocation is expected to provide investment opportunities for Turkish business people and contribute to Sudan's employment and agricultural technology sectors. There are plans to increase this land allocation in the future, under the leadership of the pilot farm project of TİGEM.
