In the first two months of the year, honey exports from the Eastern Black Sea region saw significant growth, reaching 2,760 tons and generating revenue of $6,485,105 from 26 countries. The United States, Israel, and Germany were the primary importers, accounting for the majority of the exports. This represents a notable increase from the previous year, with new export markets including Bulgaria, Saudi Arabia, Ireland, Hong Kong, Libya, Australia, and the People's Republic of China. The region's honey exports amounted to 228,689 tons during the same period.
