“Despite all the difficulties of Turkey, despite the energy crisis and recession in Europe, I believe that we will export 300-310 thousand tons of hazelnut kernels. As exporters we will focus on the Indian market. We know that hazelnuts can find a market in this country for use not in chocolate, but in confectionery. As exporters, we focus on the segment of consumers living in this country according to European standards. We expect the Indian market to create opportunities for Turkish hazelnuts in the near future,” explained the president of the association.
