Turkish hazelnuts packed their suitcase

A remarkable statement came from Muzaffer Taviloğlu, President of Istanbul Exporters' Association. Taviloğlu said, “We need to increase our hazelnut exports by finding new markets apart from the traditional ones. We care very much about the Indian market. China is a big market, but there are problems that need to be solved by the state in China, our priority should be to create new markets other than the Indian market and traditional markets.” Taviloğlu said, “For this, we need to reduce costs, increase production, and search for new markets. "India can become a big market if we manage to do what is necessary for Turkey in the near future," he said. CRISIS IN EUROPE Taviloğlu said, “Despite all the difficulties as Turkey, despite the energy crisis and recession developments in Europe, I believe that we will export 300-310 thousand tons of hazelnut kernels. Turkish hazelnut is more popular especially in the Indian market.
