Agro-produce in Ukraine has produced 6.6% less from the beginning compared to last season, and the reduction concerns both animal husbandry and crop production.

In Ukraine, from January to November, the volume of agricultural production decreased by 6.6% compared to the same period last year, according to the State Statistics Service. Over the eleven months of 2025, the agricultural production index in Ukraine stood at 93.4% compared to the same period last year. Specifically, the index for crop production reached 92.7%, and for livestock production, it was 96.2%. In agricultural enterprises, the production index was 93.2%, including 92.0% for crop production, while livestock production showed stable dynamics. In household farms, the overall index was 93.7%, with 94.8% for crop production and 90.4% for livestock production. The largest reduction in production volumes was recorded in the Donetsk region, where the index was 57.4% compared to the previous year.
