Ukraine is successfully replacing Russian products in the global market for meal and oil crops, as stated by Vitaliy Koval, Ukraine's Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food. This success is due to increased processing in exports and the adaptation of Ukrainian agribusiness to new conditions. Ukrainian farmers are adopting advanced technologies, irrigation systems, and shifting from open fields to greenhouses, moving towards an industrial, intensive production model. Koval stressed the importance of not relying on raw material exports and called for regulatory changes to address rising prices of dairy products, potatoes, and bread.
