Ukraine is ready to additionally confirm the safety of poultry products so that Moldova will resume its import.

The temporary restriction by Moldova on the import of Ukrainian poultry products became the central issue during an online meeting between Ukraine's Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture Oleksiy Sobolev, Moldova's Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Ludmila Catlabuga, and representatives of Moldova's National Food Safety Agency (ANSA). This was reported by the State Consumer Service, whose leadership was also involved in the negotiations. The Ukrainian side emphasized that the domestic system of state control in the fields of veterinary medicine and food safety is fully harmonized with the requirements of the European Union, as evidenced by the steady export to the EU market.
