As of September 15, 2025, Ukrainian farmers have sown 1,053.6 thousand hectares of winter crops. Currently, winter crops for grain are being sown in 18 regions of Ukraine.
Specifically, the following has been sown:
winter wheat – 248.1 thousand hectares;
winter barley – 9.3 thousand hectares;
winter rye – 5.3 thousand hectares;
winter rapeseed – 790.9 thousand hectares.
Winter rapeseed is being sown in all regions of Ukraine. Farmers in Vinnytsia, Volyn, Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Poltava, Rivne, Ternopil, Khmelnytsky, and Chernivtsi regions have completed the sowing of winter rapeseed.
