Early vegetables in Ukraine continue to become cheaper, and producers have been forced to lower prices for cucumbers due to increased supply. EastFruit reports. According to experts, the upper price limit for this salad vegetable has dropped from 70 to 55 UAH. At the same time, early potatoes have become cheaper, falling from 46-65 to 20-45 UAH/kg. Participants offered early cabbage cheaper than a week earlier — 20-27 instead of 34-38 UAH/kg, beets — 50-55 instead of 55-60 UAH/kg, and carrots — 50-55 instead of 55-60 UAH/kg. Meanwhile, prices for last year's borscht set vegetables remained at the previous period's level. Sweet pepper has become cheaper — prices fell from 115-120 to 100-110 UAH per kilogram, cauliflower was sold at 50-55 UAH/kg instead of 85-90, and broccoli was sold at 100-130 UAH/kg instead of 130-135.
