Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - President Prabowo Subianto's flagship program, Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) is said to be able to stimulate economic activities of the community through increased demand for primary food commodities, especially horticulture vegetables. Director of Vegetables and Medicinal Plants of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia, Muhammad Agung Sunusi said that the MBG program can drive demand at the farmer level, thereby increasing farmers' income and the welfare of the community. Vegetables such as bok choy, spinach, carrots, potatoes, chilies, and onions have experienced significant and widespread increases throughout Indonesia.
