The article highlights the development of apricot cultivation in the Guercif region of Morocco, with an increase in both planted area and variety. The production process includes soil analysis, weed control, maintenance of wells and irrigation systems, and organic fertilization. Despite the drought, the harvest has started and production expectations remain high due to the support of the Ministry of Agriculture. The region plants apricot trees over an area of 1,350 hectares, with the 'Mawi' and 'Kanino' varieties being most common. The yield is approximately 8.3 tons per hectare, resulting in a production volume of 10,500 tons and an annual turnover of 70 million dirhams, creating around 70,000 working days per year.
